A pair of antique plaster vases, French, Art Nouveau amphora dating to the turn of the 20th century, circa 1900.
Displaying wonderful characters and of good proportions
In a indian red, pale green, rose colors and highlighted with black trims from the top to the base flowing cascades of colors, showing two seductive nymphs draped in cloths flowing across the bottom, one has her hand gently holding onto the lily leaf, the other turning almost to catch her drape before it falls. Figures protecting the lily flowers which start the sinuous lines flowing to the bottom on the vases.
A highly decorative pair of antique plaster vases. Wonderful as display items of interest, or perfect for the flower arrangements.
