Warranty Statement of Klinkenberg Pianoforte GmbH for Workshop Work on Used Upright and Grand Pianos

The warrantor is Klinkenberg Pianoforte GmbH, Pforzheimer Str. 202, 76275 Ettlingen, represented by its managing director Claudia Klinkenberg (Local Court of Mannheim, HRB 742149).

For used upright and grand pianos that we sell, we provide a warranty of 2 years from handover on the work that we carried out in our workshop before the sale and on the parts we installed in the process. Which work this covers is stated in the listing description or in the purchase contract.

The warranty applies if any of this work or any of the installed parts shows a defect during the warranty period that is due to faulty workmanship or faulty material. Parts and assemblies on which we have not worked are not covered by this warranty.

Excluded are tuning and regulation after handover, normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper handling, unsuitable room climate (permanently outside 40 to 60 % humidity, direct proximity to heating or sunlight), damage caused by transport not carried out by us, and interventions by third parties.

In the event of a warranty claim, we will remedy the defect free of charge, at our discretion in our workshop or on site. The warranty applies within the European Union. Outside Germany, the remedy is carried out in our workshop in Ettlingen, and transport is at the buyer’s expense.

To make a claim under the warranty, notify us of the defect in writing within the warranty period, by email to info@klinkenberg-pianoforte.de or via eBay messages. Enclose proof of purchase and briefly describe the defect.

Notice of your statutory rights: As the buyer, you are entitled to the statutory rights in respect of defects against the seller. These rights are not restricted by the warranty, and exercising them is free of charge. The warranty applies in addition to the statutory rights.
