John Broadwood & Sons Patent Grand Piano Serial number 17332
This rare full size Grand Piano by John Broadwood & Sons has been completed in November 1849, and is exactly the same model in all aspects that has been used by Frédéric Chopin during his visit in England and Scotland one year before his death, in the year 1848.
The condition is fully original, and playable. For stable tuning it would need an overhaul. With the close relation to Chopin, this Broadowood is recommended for period performance and collectors.

John Broadwood and Sons Pianos is an English piano manufacturing company; established by Burkat Shudi in 1728 and upon his death, management fell under the operation of John Broadwood, whose name he lent to the company.
It is one of the oldest and most prominent piano companies in the world. Some of the most famous musical personalities who have used the pianos it manufactures include Mozart, Haydn, Chopin, Beethoven, and Liszt.
