C. Bechstein, 139 cm, 1898

Serial number 44247. We have given the instrument a major complete overhaul: hammer heads, tuning pins, pinblock, strings and further parts are new. The case is high-gloss polished with an environmentally friendly two-component lacquer. The tone is comparable to a grand piano. The action is modern. The touch is precise, and the dynamic range is comparable to a grand. Despite its height, this large C. Bechstein is no “roarer”; it has especially beautiful, fine tonal colours in the piano range. We will fit the original candle holders on request. Please feel free to get in touch to arrange a playing appointment.
